Productive (and not so productive) Things To Do Online and Off [When You Have Lost All Other Hope]

Most of us have experienced a period in our lives when the internet gets boring or you just run out of things to do while online; when we feel that the internet has let us down. The regular email, chatting, online gaming, and/or just plain lurking has become repetitive and boring. We need innovation!

Here are some things that help me become more productive online and off:

1. Add to your vocabulary- look up that word that has always puzzled you. You have time now so why not?

2. Learn a sentence in an unfamiliar language- who doesn’t love a person that can communicate in another language? Hot right? (If you can’t, you can always give the impression)

3. Write/type out your life story- let others know what it’s like to be you

4. Plan out the next day- even slacking requires an agenda

5. Learn a random fact- did you know that the fear of long words is, ironically, called “hippopotomostrosesquippedaliophobia”?   Word.

6. Start a blog- join the clique!

7. Meditate-we should all lead a stress-free life, so the next time you are waiting for a game to load, the stoplight to turn green, or your girl/boyfriend to stop bitching about the dishes, meditate.

8. Exercise!-your computer chair will thank you (and so will your significant other)

9. Find a hobby-so hopefully you won’t have to consult this list, or others, in the future.

10. Add to this list-Unfortunately, my ideas are limited due to the fact that I am one of you –unproductive and bored.
